Dr. Earl Simmons

Dr. Earl Simmons has been an educator since 1988, working with students at the elementary, secondary and collegiate level. A native of Arizona, he holds degrees in vocal performance from the University of California at Santa Barbara and the University of Oregon.  Awards from Rotary International and the Fulbright Commission enabled him to undertake advanced musical studies at the Hochschule fur Musik in Hamburg, Germany and the Conservatorio G. Pollini in Padua, Italy.  An ardent proponent of choral music, he has sung with the Aspen Festival Chorus, Oregon Bach Festival, Phoenix Bach Choir, Arizona Bach Festival and, since 2011, the Senior and Chamber Choirs of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Phoenix.  He has worked with notable conductors such as Sir Charles Mackerras, Helmuth Rilling and Joseph Flummerfelt.  He is a passionate advocate of early musical and vocal development and, since 2010, has enjoyed working with students in the Alhambra Elementary School District.
