As part of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, Phoenix concert organist Guy Whatley presents a program of settings of Martin Luther’s hymn Vater Unser im Himmelreich (the Lord’s Prayer). An amazing variety of pieces and composers will be presented, even though they all share the same hymn tune theme. Music by Bach, Mendelssohn, Langlais, and more. 


Recently acclaimed by the Arizona Daily Star as “a rock star on the harpsichord,” Guy Whatley enjoys a diverse international career as a harpsichordist and organist, performing as a soloist, collaborative artist, and ensemble director. Dr. Whatley has played in several of the world’s most prestigious venues with many notable musicians of our time. A concert by the Central Arizona Chapter American Guild of Organists.
