Trevor Carolan

Trevor W. Carolan is the Associate Director of Music at All Saints’. Carolan is an attorney, currently in federal service as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Diane J. Humetewa, United States District Court Judge for the District of Arizona. 


Prior to moving to Phoenix last year, Carolan was bass section leader of the 100-member cathedral choir at the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis, and was a member of the semi-professional Basilica Schola for the past six years. In that ensemble, he twice performed in Europe, and sang for His Holiness Pope Francis at the closing Mass of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy at the Vatican in 2016. He served as organist for numerous Twin Cities churches, including as organist for the Choristers at the Cathedral of St. Paul. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa in 2011. There, he studied organ with Dr. Karen Black, was a four-year member of the Wartburg Choir, and served as President of the Student Body. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis in 2014. Carolan was presented as a 2018 Biggs Fellow

in Organ from the Organ Historical Society at their annual convention in Rochester, New York. 


He moved to Phoenix in 2017 with his wife, Dr. Alexandra Ciota, who is a urologic surgery resident at the Mayo Clinic.
