Katrina Clements is currently completing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in clarinet performance at Arizona State University where she is a clarinet teaching assistant. She was the 2017 winner of the University of Minnesota concerto competition and has previously appeared as a soloist with the University of New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, the New Life Symphony Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra of Albuquerque. Ms. Clements recently returned from a four week tour in the Czech Republic where she was principal clarinet of the Prague Summer Nights Young Artists Festival. In addition to her teaching duties at ASU, Ms. Clements is the clarinet teacher at Desert Ridge High School in Gilbert, has taught clarinet and saxophone clinics at Brophy High School, and was previously the clarinet instructor at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. Ms. Clements received a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s of Music from the University of Minnesota. Her primary teachers include Dr. Robert Spring, Dr. Joshua Gardner, Alexander Fiterstein and Keith Lemmons.
