Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin has recently come to All Saints Episcopal Church from Central United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir, having sung with Donald Morse in their music program since 1987. She grew up in Southern California and brings with her a Bachelor of Music degree with emphasis in Vocal Performance from Cal State University at Fullerton, and she has experience singing all over the Southern California area as chorister and soloist with, among others, the Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes Estates, the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, the William Hall Chorale, the Roger Wagner Chorale, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. She also sang with the Phoenix Bach and Madrigal Society and the Phoenix Chamber Singers after moving to Arizona. Rebecca sang for the First Church of Christ Scientist in Tempe Arizona for 22 years as soloist, and still sings for them occasionally.  Rebecca and her husband Donald worked in finance and human resources at what is now Boeing in Mesa Arizona and she has served on Arizona arts organization boards, one being the Arizona Bach Festival board with Scot Youngs and Donald Morse, and another being the East Valley Children’s Theatre board, where she was Treasurer, but also a vocal coach for children performing in EVCT’s shows. While she lived in Mesa she also taught children voice lessons out of her home studio.  Rebecca lost her husband last year to multiple myeloma.  She now lives 3 minutes from All Saints and is thrilled to be part of the All Saints church family!
