God is endlessly creative, and when we create or appreciate beauty, whether of the joyful or
poignant variety, we experience something of God’s presence. All Saints’ Episcopal Church welcomes you to explore the Saint John’s Bible with us. By the grace of God, several anonymous donors from the parish have gifted our future generations with the full Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible. Seven calf-skin bound, museum-quality reproductions of the first completely handwritten, illuminated Bible commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in over 500 years, are housed permanently at All Saints’.

Whether you have a deep reverence for Scripture, are drawn to the precise work of the quill, are an avid art collector, or are fascinated by the making of the Saint John’s Bible, you now have the opportunity to experience this unique blend of ancient methods, materials, and tools with today’s themes, images, and technology.

May the same Holy Spirit that illumined the hearts of the book’s artists illumine our hearts through its presence among us.

Come see the volume of Gospels and Acts up close after services at 9am and 11am.
