Children, Youth, and Family
Formation for all the saints, no matter their age!
EQUIPPING the SAINTS
We know that children are full and equal ministers of God’s Kingdom. Though their ministry may look different than an adults’, and their faith may be better developed through doing rather than thinking, we believe each child has a natural sense of spirituality and theology — just as deep as any adult.
At All Saints’, we want every child to know that they are seen and loved; we want them to feel both powerful and responsible. Children at All Saints’ are known and valued, and they are trained as leaders according to their gifts. We strive to invest in those gifts and encage their wonder though the teachings and the stories of the Bible, as well as through service, art, and fun.

"Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14
WHICH PROGRAM DO YOU CHOOSE?
Sunday 9 AM Offerings
Sunday School
Students explore their own questions about God, creation, human beings, and more! Through a variety of activities and Godly Play Curriculum, this group learns different practice of prayer from Scripture and Christian tradition, and discuss how these practices influence their relationships with God, family,
and friends.
The Acolyte Corps & C.L.A.S.P
This group of youth in grades 4-12 volunteer their time and talent to serve during services. They perform a variety of roles such as carrying the processional crosses, torches, flags, and assisting with incense. Our Acolyte Corps also actively engages in Christian formation with monthly discussions, fun activities, and service projects in C.L.A.S.P (Connecting, Learning, Acolyting, Serving, Praying). Anyone may attend C.L.A.S.P. classes.
Youth Education
For children who are considered ready (typically around middle school). Youth Ed is offered at the 9 AM hour. It follows a curriculum of ethics, philosophy, Bible studies, and theology in bite-sized conversations for kids.
Sunday 10 AM Offerings
The All Saints’ Nursery
Located in the north wing of the church, the nursery is available for infants through age four, Sundays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Licensed and experienced caregivers are committed to providing a safe, clean, loving, and playful environment.
Children’s Chapel
Children's Chapel is offered most Sundays for all children, through Grade 5, during the 10:00 AM service.
Little Liturgical Library
The Little Liturgical Library is always open for kids! Some days children just want to be with their families in church, but don't actually want to be at church. The Library is stocked with simple puzzles, toys, books and other activities.
FOR FAMILIES, TOO
On the last Thursday evening of each month, we have a double offering, with Youth Group Trivia Night the same time as our Raising Saints class — a program specifically designed for families trying to cultivate a faith that their children don't have to heal from. Both classes start at 7:30 PM.
The Youth Haven
Our Youth Group meets every Sunday at 11:30 AM. With Service Projects, fun games, and bible study, our Youth Group is an inclusive and joyful community that meets in The Haven.
Our Youth Haven is designed to give our middle school and high school students a safe place to hang out before and after services. With a well stocked fridge, good books and games, and comfortable seating, The Haven is designed to foster conversation and friendship over shared classes and fun.
