Where the tradition of Anglican music across centuries brings people together across generations.
Provides music for our regular Sunday assemblies, major highlights of the church year (everyone loves Christmas music!), and special music focused events like Evensong or benefit concerts.
The Choristers of All Saints' is a free program offered for children third grade and up. The Chorister program offers children the opportunity to sing timeless classics, build community and self-confidence, and contribute musically to worship services.
"Oh sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth!
Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day."
Psalm 96:1-4
Music is an important part of worship life at All Saints'. The Choir of All Saints', Chamber Choir, Bell Choir, and Choristers of All Saints' rehearse each week to present a wide range of music — from Renaissance to the present day — aiming to elevate and enrich the worship experience of everyone in the church community.
The people in the choir make a significant time commitment, as they create a joyful, welcoming space together. Most people with a little musical background, willing ear, and a heart for working together will fit right in. If you are interested in participating in music more than singing along with the congregational hymns, you can always reach out to Tom Peterson, music director, by finding him the choir room after a service or sending him a note at tpeterson@allsaintsoncentral.org.
CHORAL EVENSONG
Evensong is offered seasonally, often to celebrate special feast days of the church. Set to dusk and candlelight, Evensong services highlight the rich legacy of Anglican sacred music in hymns, psalms, canticles and anthems. These special services are intended to close the day with songs praising God's graciousness, fidelity, and love. We invite you to come experience this treasure of our church tradition. Incense is used as it was in the ancient church to elevate our prayers to God.
Watch for upcoming dates and times in our calendar, e-blast, and bulletins.
