All Saints' Health Ministries Coordinator
The parish Health Ministries Coordinator is Jane Irvine, RN, BSN, who assists the clergy in supporting parish members with health or other personal issues. She provides counsel, referral, and education as indicated, and is a member of The Community of Hope.
Jane's background is in nursing. She did her training in London, England, from there went to Saudi Arabia, whereshe opened the first American run hospital in the kingdom.
When she returned, she worked at Hoag Memorial in Newport Beach and then settled in Phoenix in 1977. For the last 40 years, Jane has been VP for Nursing at Phoenix Memorial Hospital, Home Health Coordinator at St. Joe's and Director at Hospice of the Valley. According to Jane, her final, and most fulfilling job is when she returned to bedside nursing at hospice in 2012 until her retirement last year. She hopes to bring with her some of what she learned from each of these experiences.
For now, her primary goal will be focusing on those in our church family who are ill or for whatever reason confined to their homes. In addition, she hopes to work with our
seniors and clergy in developing meaningful and innovative programs to keep all the generations in our community connected.
(PRAY, LEARN, SERVE, CONNECT).
She can be reached through the church office at 602-279-5539, extension 161 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
