Patrice was ordained to the deaconate on June 1, 2019 by the Rt. Rev. Jennifer Reddall. She is a member of All Saints’, a graduate of the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, and a Licensed Master Social Worker. Patrice worked in medical and geriatric health care environments for twenty-five years, most recently at the Mayo Clinic. She supported patients, families, and health care professionals in many settings to engage in loving dialogue around caregiving and end-of-life issues, and is a trainer and public speaker. She is also a suicide survivor and the creator of FindingUp.com, a website designed to support survivors of spousal suicide. Her ministry passion is to call attention to the epidemic of loneliness in the US and to encourage congregations to learn about the dynamics of loneliness in 21st Century America. She welcomes opportunities to talk to groups about loneliness and the personal practices and organizational supports that build healthy Individuals, neighborhoods, and communities. For fun, Patrice also enjoys the challenge of watercolor and oil painting and has studied art intensively. Her work can be found on Instagram at @palshatti.artist. She can be reached for pastoral issues or to address churches and community groups about loneliness through the Church Office at 602-279-5539, extension 161 or via email at palshatti@allsaintsoncentral.org.
